Important information about stay, weigh and play sessions and self-weigh stations
For families looking to attend on of our Stay, Weigh and Play sessions should familiarise themselves with the below information prior to booking;
- Our Stay, Weigh and Play sessions are predominately for weighing babies and infants under the age of 2. If your child is over the age of 2, and you want to them weighed, you will need to book an appointment at one of our Well Child Clinics instead.
- There will be no health visitor or health professional available to speak to at these sessions . If you have any concerns or require advice, please contact your named Health Visitor or the Telephone Advisory Service (TAS).
- Unfortunately there is no parking available for visitors at stay, weigh and play sessions. You are encouraged to utilise local car parks or on-street parking where available. Please be considerate of homes/drives and do not block other cars.
For families attending self-weigh stations within community settings, such as local libraries should familiarise themselves with the below information:
- Our self-weigh stations are for weighing babies and infants under the age of 2. If your child is over the age of 2, and you want to them weighed, you will need to book an appointment at one of our Well Child Clinics instead.
- There will be no health visitor or health professional available to speak to at these sessions . If you require advice, please contact your named Health Visitor or the Telephone Advisory Service (TAS) Monday - Friday between 9:00am-1:00pm by calling 01905 520 032.
